At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 in Las Vegas, HD Construction Equipment showcased a major step forward in intelligent and autonomous construction machinery, unveiling nine next-generation models across its two flagship brands, HYUNDAI and DEVELON.

The exhibition featured three dedicated booths covering HYUNDAI, DEVELON, and the company’s engine division, highlighting a full ecosystem of machines and powertrains designed for the North American market. HYUNDAI introduced five new medium-to-large excavators in the 23–40 ton class, while DEVELON presented four NextGen models focused on smart control, efficiency, and operator-centric design.

A key highlight was the introduction of the “Real-X” autonomous solution, an AI-driven system representing the commercial evolution of the Concept-X platform. Integrated into next-generation excavators, Real-X enables semi- and fully autonomous operations including digging, loading, and safety monitoring, marking a significant step toward unmanned jobsite solutions.

In addition to machine innovation, HD Construction Equipment emphasized powertrain advancement at its engine booth. The lineup included newly developed engines such as the DA11 compact electronic engine, DX05 and DX08 units optimized for mid-range excavators, and the high-output DX22 designed for ultra-large equipment. Hydrogen engine prototypes and advanced battery systems were also presented, underscoring the company’s transition toward low-emission and hybrid power technologies.

The company stated that all next-generation models are engineered to meet stringent North American emissions regulations while improving fuel efficiency and operational durability. Advanced AI assistance systems and remote-control technologies were demonstrated, including real-time machine operation from remote locations thousands of kilometers away.

Held during the globally influential CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, the showcase reinforced HD Construction Equipment’s strategy to expand its footprint in North America and accelerate its transformation into a global leader in smart construction solutions.
