XCMG Helps Build India's Longest Sea Bridge

According to India Infrahub, the progress of India's longest sea bridge (MTHL) has passed 84% and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023. The MTHL (Mumbai Trans Harbour Link) is an overseas key project built by XCMG XGC150-IA crawler cranes.

The bridge has a total length of 21.8 kilometers, including a 16.5-kilometer sea bridge and a 5.5-kilometer land viaduct. After completion, the commuting time between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai will be shortened from the current 2 hours to 20 minutes, boosting the local economy. India attaches great importance to the MTHL project. Since the start of construction, with the continuous increase in investment, the requirements for lifting capacity, handling performance and transportation of lifting equipment have also increased.
