On March 18, our Shanghai headquarters hosted a key client from Turkey’s construction sector. The delegation was greeted at Hongqiao Station by our international team, with preliminary discussions on customized steel structures and Eurocode compliance during the transfer. A three-hour negotiation followed, where we demonstrated product customization via 3D modeling and proposed flexible payment terms (LC/TT) with an 18-month warranty. Their interest focused on our thermal-insulation coatings, prompting requests for additional ASTM certifications.
After touring automated workshops and quality labs, a framework agreement for $2.8 million in potential orders was signed. Evening activities included a Bund visit and a cultural dinner at Yu Garden, where Belt and Road collaboration opportunities were explored. Departing the next morning, the clients praised our technical-cultural integration and pledged formal orders within two weeks. This engagement balanced business precision with diplomatic rapport, solidifying cross-continental partnership prospects.
