On January 6, Sunward held a grand delivery ceremony for its SWE1650FLR long-arm excavator at Sunward Industrial City. As the company’s largest-tonnage, longest-reach excavator in its class, the SWE1650FLR marks a significant breakthrough in high-end construction equipment. Over 100 company executives, client representatives, and employees attended the ceremony.

Designed under Sunward’s “Pioneer Innovation” philosophy, the SWE1650FLR features a 10.8m boom and 7.7m reinforced arm, achieving a maximum digging height of 17.2m, depth of 13.3m, and reach of 20.5m. Equipped with a 4m³ heavy-duty bucket, it delivers high productivity even under extreme long-reach conditions, suitable for highways, railways, ports, and large stockyards.

The excavator integrates cutting-edge technology, including a dual 90-ton power system, four-pump hydraulic design, automated lubrication, and advanced safety features such as elevated panoramic cabins, LED lighting, and full-view monitoring. Already holding multiple core patents, it balances performance, fuel efficiency, and operational safety.

Following the SWE950ELR and other long-arm models, the SWE1650FLR expands Sunward’s ten-model long-arm lineup. Soon heading to the Middle East, it reflects China’s commitment to innovation and global construction solutions.
